West Coast Caravan and Consignment is committed to providing quality services to our clients and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to our clients in respect of how we manage personal information.

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the policies and procedures of West Coast Caravan and Consignment (“we”, “our” or “us”) on the collection, use and disclosure of your information on https://westcoastcaravan.com.au/ (the “Site”) and the services, features, content or applications we offer (collectively with the Website, the “Services”, and together with the Website, the “Site”).

What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?
Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect include names, addresses, email addresses, phone, and facsimile numbers.

We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our clients and marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.
When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.
Sensitive Information
Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.
Sensitive information will be used by us only:

- For a secondary purpose that is directly related to the primary purpose.

West Coast Caravan will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your Personal Information.
To protect your Personal Information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
Maintaining the Quality of your Personal Information
It is an important to us that your Personal Information is up to date. We will take reasonable steps to make sure that your Personal Information is accurate, complete, and up to date. If you find that the information we have is not up to date or is inaccurate, please advise us as soon as practicable so we can update our records and ensure we can continue to provide quality services to you.
Account with the Site
To use certain products or services provided by us from time to time, you are required to create an account and will be asked to provide certain Personal Identifiable Information.

We may use third parties to provide credit card and other payment processing services through the Site. When you make or receive any payment on or through the Site, you will be required to provide us and/or our authorised third-party agents with financial information and related payment information. We and our third-party agents may retain the details of financial transactions or payments you make on or through the Site.

Logging of Your Activities on the Site

Additionally, we may disclose the user information (“User Information”) we collect on the Site, under the following circumstances:

Content Posted to Public Areas of the Site
If you post or provide any information in any public area on the Site or if you otherwise make any information about yourself publicly available on the Site, you should be aware that any publicly disclosed Personal Identifiable Information can be read, collected, or used by other users of the Site, and could be used to send you unsolicited messages or otherwise. We use commercially reasonable efforts to comply with industry standards with respect to encryption technologies with respect to the receipt and transfer of User Information you submit to us via the Site, including using SSL technology for certain sensitive information. We do not guarantee that its security measures will not be circumvented or breached or that your User Information will not be accessed by, used by, modified by, or disclosed to a third party. Updating Your Information and Deleting Your Account
Once your account is setup, you can at any time access your account to add, delete or modify any information which you have provided. Please note that even after you terminate your account or delete or modify information from your profile, copies of the original information may remain viewable on the Site and/or elsewhere to the extent that your information was publicly posted by you or with your authorisation, previously shared with others, or otherwise distributed pursuant to your privacy settings. Additionally, even if you have requested that your User Information be deleted, we may retain a record of such information (including Personal Identifiable Information).
